Shopify E-commerce Specialist / Weekly Pay / US Paid Holiday at Everything Virtual Assistant (EVA)

Position: Shopify E-commerce Specialist
Type: Part-time (20 hours per week to start)
Location: Remote
 

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Shopify E-commerce Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Shopify, social media customer service, and HTML. This role involves daily monitoring and troubleshooting of our Shopify store, collaborating with a freelance development team in India, managing customer interactions on social media, and ensuring smooth order fulfillment and logistical operations.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

Shopify Management:

• Perform daily checks of the website and checkout process to identify and address any issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Shopify, liaising with the Shopify support team as needed.
• Integrate changes and updates, and provide regular status updates.

Development Team Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with our freelance development team in India regarding web edits, issues, and updates.
• Maintain and update a spreadsheet of edit requests and track their completion.

Customer Service:

• Monitor and respond to comments on Facebook, escalating specific details to QA as necessary.
• Report on consistent issues observed in customer interactions.

Order Fulfillment and Logistics:

• Monitor order fulfillment processes to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Set up and maintain logistical systems to ensure products are always in stock and reordered when necessary.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Shopify, including troubleshooting and customer service.
• Proficiency in HTML and basic web development.
• Strong communication skills, especially in coordinating with remote teams.
• Experience in managing social media interactions.
• Ability to update and manage spreadsheets efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with an international development team.
• Familiarity with e-commerce logistics and supply chain management.
